The concept of a domain is central to taxonomy, comparision and prediction of protein three-dimensional structure. An algorithm has been developed to identify the location of domains in proteins.

This web server is to provide a database of domain assignment, as well as to allow you to assign domain for your own protein deirectly.

A table of domain assignment with 284 non-redundant chains are available on this server.

You may find a list of the table with PDB code, chain ID and protein name.

The search option can be used to find a special chain in the list.

If your protein is not in the list, you may assign domains right now.
